Adventure Women UK offers outdoor adventures, hikes, paddleboarding, and other activities designed for women, creating a supportive and welcoming community.
2. Who can join Adventure Women UK events?
Our events are open to women of all abilities, from beginners to experienced adventurers. Each event will have a description of the difficulty level and previous experience needed (if any) .
3. Do I need prior experience to join?
Many of our activities are beginner-friendly, and we provide guidance and support to help you feel confident. Some activities will need previous experience or require a certain level of fitness, this will be clear in each events description.
4. What’s included in the price of an event or trip?
This varies by event, but it typically includes guided activities, safety equipment, and some events include accommodation or meals. Details are provided for each event.
5. What should I bring to an event?
A kit list is shared before each activity or trip. It usually includes suitable clothing, sturdy footwear, water, snacks, and any specific gear for the activity.

We host a variety of outdoor adventures, including hiking, paddleboarding, climbing, canoeing, mindfulness walks, caving, and weekend trips.
7. How do you categorise skill levels for paddleboarding or hiking?
We have clear categories to match your skill and comfort levels (e.g., Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
8. Are paddleboarding sessions safe for beginners?
Yes! Our beginner friendly sessions are tailored to all skill levels, and our instructors focus on safety and support.
10. Can I bring my own paddleboard?
Yes, but it must meet our safety requirements. Please let us know in advance.
9. What is a natural mindfulness walk?
It’s a guided walk focusing on connecting with nature through mindful techniques, helping you relax and recharge.

11. How do you ensure participant safety?
All activities are led by qualified leaders with first aid training. We conduct safety checks, provide necessary equipment, and share risk management plans.
12. Do I need travel insurance for trips?
We recommend all participants have travel insurance, especially for multi-day trips.
13. What happens if the weather is bad?
We monitor weather conditions closely and will adjust or postpone activities if safety is a concern. We may have to let you know on the morning of the event as weather conditions are always changing.
14. Are the activities suitable for people with health conditions?
Please inform us of any medical conditions during booking. We’ll do our best to accommodate and advise on suitability.
Booking & Cancellation
15. How do I book an event?
Bookings can be made through our website. Payment details and confirmation will follow once your spot is secured.
16. What is your cancellation policy?
Please check the specific terms in our Ts&Cs for each activity or trip.
17. Can I transfer my booking to another person?
Yes, transfers are possible in most cases, but please contact us to arrange this. We will need to check the suitability of the person taking you space. We do not authorise reselling of spaces on social media, if you see a space for resale on social media, please be advised this could be a potential scam.

18. What is the community like?
We’re a supportive group of women who share a love for the outdoors. Many participants join to meet like-minded women and build friendships.
19. Can I join on my own?
Absolutely! Many of our members come solo and find it’s a great way to meet others.
20. Am I Too Old or What Is the Age of the Members?
We often get questions about the age range of our members, but truthfully, it's not a big concern. While most of our members fall within the 35-65 age bracket (rough estimate... we don't ask!). All we ask is that members be at least 18 years old and physically able to participate in the activities they sign up for.
21. Are the events family-friendly?
Our activities are for adult women only. Please contact us directly to discuss private bookings.
