Fitness & Preparedness:
It is your responsibility to ensure you sign up for a trip that matches your current fitness level and walking experience. Our walks are graded to help you choose appropriately, but please read the trip descriptions carefully and consider the distance, elevation, terrain, and expected pace.
If, for any reason, the walk leader has concerns about your ability to complete a particular walk within the required time or at a suitable pace, you may be asked not to join that walk. This decision is never taken lightly, but it is made for the safety, well being, and enjoyment of the entire group.
Some of our routes are remote or exposed, with limited options to shorten or exit early. Fatigue, cold, heat, or lack of preparedness can pose real risks, especially over multi-day trips. Our aim is for everyone to have a positive and safe experience, so we appreciate your honesty when assessing your readiness and your cooperation with leader decisions on the day.
